It will be interested to see the price of this book at Wondercon.

The lowest buy it now on ebay is $17 shipped. Much less than the $40 on that sold on the 11th.

The last one to sell went for $20 shipped.

I saw a guy asking about $1450 for 33 Manifest Destinys on the CGC boards...anyone here looking to take a gamble?

I stopped by one of my local stores and found two high grade copies of #110. I will hit two more stores tomorrow to see what I can find.

That's $44 an issue plus whatever shipping is. That is too high to gamble on for me.

I'd never do anything like that, but if I did, it would have to be closer to $20 per book. That price is pretty redick.

Scalped tv show was announced today - a pilot on wgn. I don't think that's the best place for it, but whatever. Astonishingly, I can find no copies on eBay except for one insane 9.8.

If dmz shot up to $40, I'd expect this book to do better.

Was thinking the same except I think my max would be $15 per, that is about $500. It is just waaaay too soon to gamble on this book I think.

Scalped?

That's likely to be a steal here shortly. I see you listed one at $100. I wouldn't be surprised if it sold pretty quickly. I need to figure out how many copies I have, but I'll likely list it higher.

It's my last one. But I'm thinking I can get some more this weekend.

I also listed a full lot of 1-60.

I didn't realize that McFarlane was still working as an artist. I thought he was only writing Spawn.

Superior Spider-Man 30 first print is hot. It's the return of Peter Parker.

I guess I'll have to read the series, but why is this a big deal? Did anyone think he wasn't coming back? Also, if I understand correctly, it's always been Peter Parker, but for the run of Superior Spider-man (and I guess some issues before that) he just happened to have Doc Ock's mind inside and asserting dominance. Doesn't that mean it's just the final death of Doc Ock.

Related: so Doc Ock is dead, dead? That's pretty big if true. Quite the awesome villain to just get rid of.

I guess I should just start reading.

It's a big deal because a lot of people miss Peter Parker as Spider-Man. Regardless of whether that technically was Peter Parker in Superior Spider-Man, it certainly wasn't like Peter Parker in his own book. It's also a fairly key book.

Sold my signed copy of Scalped 1 for $60. I had to list the book three times lowering the price a little each time to get this price.

I feel like I got good value since I bought the book for $3 over 5 years ago

So, CGC 9.8 copies of Manifest Destiny #1 are selling for almost as much as the Ottley variant.

Any theories?
