Sure thing. Maybe we will meet up on the Convention floor.
The Valuant booth and Elveen booth are always good meeting points.

Ok I'll pop by one of those and drop you a PM before I do or pm me your cell. ALWAYS a pleasure to meet Valiant Fans.

Still gotta throw a few rounds of 45 into my duffle and a couple shirts. Then I'll be on my way with my sidekick at my uh SIDE. LOL

The totally @$$ed up previous and current week is SO gonna be left behind when I stomp on the accelerator in a few hours.

It's been a great convention.
It's been great meeting new Valiant fans and catching up with old ones.
One more day to go.

Homey don't play dat. I have trouble remembering what I had for breakfast, let alone what happened all weekend, Valiant, or otherwise. Although, I got a sweet head sketch from Mark Bagley of Speedball, from the New Warriors. That was a highlight for me. Everything else is a blur...

Wow a Bagley sketch!!! Did you have to wait long for it? How much was he charging?

$60 for a headshot (which is what I got)
$150 for a bust
$200 full body
And no, I was one of the first people there Thursday morning, so not a long wait at all,but even so, not a long line for him ever the whole weekend. Long lines for Herb Trimpe, Chris Claremont though.

He is a really under rated artist for his entire career. He produces more quality work on time (and even early!) than ANY other artist I think of.

He was my gateway drug. No offense to any other artist out there, but there's no way I would ever pay money for a scribble that is just going to wind up staying in my sketch book. However, it was actually pretty cool meeting the person that I credit with getting me into comics, chatting with him a bit, and having him draw something especially for me that I will very much cherish for a long time to come.
And yes, in my opinion, he's a fantastic artist. Very distinct in his work, and has drawn every major character ever. My fav.

Man I am so bummed I didn't get to go! I would have loved to get him to draw me something.

Marc Silvestri was my first, and then Jim Lee. What a way to start huh? Bagley came later...creator of Carnage! No one can ever do him as well as bags does.

Wow getting a Jim Lee sketch now is pretty much impossible. What a way to start indeed!
