And we were all worried about the lack of on-goings. The only thing missing is word on Shadowman, Doctor Mirage, and/or Darque

with the sales numbers of dr mirage #1, i wouldn't expect it to return anytime soon. pity, started out decent enough, content-wise.

It may have been more successful than the sales numbers show. If this increases Dr. Mirage fans, then this builds the potential fanbase for a Shadowman book that has Dr. Mirage appearances.

I'd add word regarding the on hiatus Eternal Warrior ongoing is sorely missing as well.

well it "sold out" .. and they are doing a reprint so obviously it met their expectations

They didn't really push this title with tons of incentives and pullbox variants .. essentially there was only 1 cover

I would expect it to be a "low selling" mini series ... but there are a lot of well loved and respected comics that sell in the 5-6k range(and even lower). This might be a mini-series that a few years from now will be highly sought after because of the low print run and high acclaim (if the rest of the series is as strong as the 1st issue - it should be a well received mini)

Having said .. I would expect Dr. Mirage to probably pop up in a team book at some point after her mini is over. Maybe in Unity or in some Supernatural team book.
Ha! Yeah! Nice! Any of those dudes in your head mosh?! - Flamingo

Well, VEI has finally gone and done it. They've busted my monthly comic budget.

All of this looks great, ALL of it. :thumb:

BugsySig wrote:So the ongoing titles for 2015 look to be:

XO Manowar
Unity
Rai
Ivar, Timewalker
Ninjak
Imperium
Bloodshot Reborn

With various miniseries:

The Valiant
Divinity
Eternal Warrior (Days of Steel, Eternity?)
Quantum & Woody?

That's how you do it VEI

Still nothing dealing with Shadowman, though... :hm:
Three ongoings by Matt Kindt? Or would Rai retain its schedule of taking breaks in between arcs?

I know that Nord is doing Days of Steel, but I hope he would be in a big book in 2015.

To be brutally honest, I've basically given up on that title as a true on-going. With the new mini slotting in it be harder than hell to continue EW without a new #1 and the mother of all pushes.

Happy Dance time, if you can imagine how Snoopy dances in Charlie Brown, that's how I'm dancing right now. Not pretty to look at, but feels fantastic. So happy right now.

Timewalker ongoing yes :thumb:  with Fred Van Lente and Clayton Henry :thumb:  and Ninjak ongoing as well yes :thumb:  .

I'm a little bit worried concerning Eternal Warrior as well, but we still get a taste through The Valiant and Unity.

Divinity looks very interesting as well.
Imperium and Bloodshot Reborn also sounds great, what a brilliant start to 2015

EW is appearing in three books anyway in January. I'd rather that they do this to characters if they do not have a really strong concept that they can package into a sustainable ongoing.

I really hope, though, that we could get an Archer and Armstrong Vol. 2 even in 2016. Those characters are too good to not have any books, and, unlike Gilad, I can not see them really becoming regular guest stars in other books. They have their own bubble, with the way FVL constructed their story.

i think they will guest-starring a lot in the new timewalker series. also, we'll probably get the occasional mini-series, maybe once every year. other than that, before the movie isn't hitting the fan, i don't think there are any economic reasons indicating a new ongoing would be a good idea.
