Here's one that sold for more.

We've seen some high prices on Valiant keys in the past day, but nothing like these A&A #0.

I'm thinking there's a chance that people are confusing the A&A #0 with the A&A #0 Gold.

It's the only pre-Unity book with two versions.
That's a thought for sure I just put one that's a solid copy for $19.99 see if that one pops...

I'm really regretting my "only need one copy" philosophy. I don't want to sell any of them, but if the prices shoot up enough, I'm gonna sell to fund ASM purchases.

You and I both.

I have a very-nice collection content-wise, but not in quantity (I have about 4 RAI #0's in 9.8 for example).

HOWEVER, in the 2 weeks leading up to this announcement, I DID secure a substantial multi-issue VEI deal that makes me feel quite good right now... :cloud9:

Certain books if I had a mini hoard I would but issues like Solar #3 & #10 Harbinger #1 Magnus #5 those I sitting on... They aren't even close to what they could and should be.

When I would place orders with My Comic Shop several years ago, I would always throw in cheaply priced issues (when available) to help get me over the $50 mark for free shipping. Among my favorite issues to add at the time - Superman: Man of Steel 18 ($2-$3), Archer & Armstrong 0 ($1-$2), Bloodshot 6 ($1-$2), Rai 0 ($2-$3), Eternal Warrior 4 ($3-$4) and Shadowman 8 ($2-$3). Prices have caught up with the times but I have myself a nice mini-hoard. I am going to sit on them until actual movie release dates start being announced, and when that happens, I will release the hounds. Not literally.

I agree with you 100% Brian. To me selling preunity books even if I bought them for a buck for $5-10 just isn't worth it, I would rather keep that copy even if I have a small stack of them. RMA talks about not selling his big books like he did with NM 98 for $5. Selling something locally or on ebay for $5-10 is just not worth my time, I'd rather just hold onto the item. If the price goes back below $5 a book, I won't regret it because I never really wanted to sell in the first place. Only when I think books are seriously not worth what I can get for them will I ever sell it, e.g. My three Maxx Blacks.

I want to point out that I was very surprised there were still copies of X-0 #1 available yesterday for under $20. Again, for months I thought this book and to some extent Harby 1 were undervalued. So I've been watching auctions gingerly to add more copies to hold onto. I managed to snag this yesterday: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/361238529999?ssP ... 1497.l2649" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, and then added a second copy because the negligent cost increase in shipping brought my per/copy cost down significantly. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/X-O-Manowar-1-NM ... 1238615571" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;?

I recall see it on the forum in the past. What is the grading rule if a Harbinger 1 has a slight spine split? I have a gorgeous copy but there is a less than half inch spine split under the middle or bottom staple.

Might be a shame to break up the A&A 0 hoard.

I bought a Harbinger #1 cgc 9.8 about a year ago and it has a very distinct but solitary crease on the cover.

I've been looking for the polka dot variant! But only the 1st print. The 2nd printing is worthless.
