If I had 1% of the comic industry, I'd be pretty happy. I'd also be pretty determined, as there is lots of room for growth. Exciting times for a start up.

Wow, look at Image and IDW just completely stealing market share from DC. Marvel's still doing fine, but this seems like 2 solid months of DC just crumbling, no?
I know this is Valiant talk (and very glad they remain in the Top 10 Unit Shares), but overall market thoughts, anyone?

DC is suffering. The post coital glow of the New 52 has long since worn off. Convergence will be a brief bump which I'm sure they hope will last them until they start pumping out Justice League movies.

IDW has been killing it in sales lately. Unfortunately I can't name one book they publish outside of GI Joe, Transformers and TMNT.

I was really hoping for a big jump in sales with all of these Valiant Next books, but it's just not happening... I really hate the whole industry sometimes.

Three words.... My Little Pony. I'm always amazed but three or four MLP books end up in the top 300 in sales every month (usually at least 2 in the top 100) Who knew there were so many Bronies out there?! They (IDW) also license Judge Dredd; three books there; JD, JD classics, and Anderson Psi Division.

Wonder what Convergence will mean for DC? 40 books ? wow thats gotta hurt a wallet...Although most are 2 part minis I believe; still a big owww to the leather.

It was a joke ;)

People have been saying Valiant wouldn't last 6 months since the relaunch - so just making fun of those people 8-)

What I really believe is that Dinesh and company have a rough outline of the next 10 years planned out - and i'm going to enjoy the ride :thumb:

Orders for March were due in January. Movie news probably won't have any effect until the books that come out in May.

Regardless, doesn't someone always do a month by month comparison? I forget who it is?

Ninjak was #97 this month!

Divinity could be the sleeper with numbers that low.

In 10 years, people will pay big money for these Quantum books. The print Run is ridiculously low. So is Unity now. If that is the Valiant Avengers book, then it will be good to get these books.

I think we can finally deduce that people are tired of Quantum & Woody. Either that or everyone buys the arcs in trade. Please make it stop now.

Probably never a better name for a book than Quantum & Woody Must Die.

I have to agree. I'm not a Quantum & Woody fan, either. Especially at the expense of missing out on other VEI characters.

keep in mind Divinity #1 is going into 4th printing and #2 into 2nd printing.

also, it should be X-O Manowar #34, not #5 :poke:
