No uh-oh, lol. It's a good update.

I'd tell you but in case you haven't heard (my fault, I've barely mentioned it at all) I'm leaving for the con in like nine minutes (lol).

The update is this...

This is what I ordered that was in stock:
4 x Unity 2000 #1 Alt Cvr
3 x Nio #1
3 x Nio #2
3 x Nio #3
3 x Nio #4
1 x Magnus Robotfighter #51
1 x Magnus Robot Fighter #5
1 x Turok 3 Shadow Of Oblivion
2 x Turok Evolution #1

And This is what they did not have of what I ordered:
3 x Unity 2000 #2
1 x Magnus Robot Fighter #3

The deficit of what was left over was something like $8.64. Tried find some other Valiant/Acclaim comics to fill that void, but out of like 40 comics, he didn't have any of them in stock. So I basically forwarded (through MotA) to just have him toss in some random X-Men related comics to close out the remaining amount...

It's taken about a week, but the guy has been pretty accomodating. MotA, has been playing the middle man and translator for this little venture, so special thanks to him on this matter (he's been a HUGE help). I haven't received the comics yet, so no word on condition - but I'm really thankful that he had the U2K #1 variants! I'm not sure when they'll ship, but I'll be sure to update here on the overall purcahse (once I get them).

so far so good...

I also ordered some books. No word of any real trouble yet, but there is a technical difficulty so Mike might need to help me out as well when he's back from San Diego.

Thanks, and thanks Mike.

It's not a linguistic matter, it's that the store owner needs to hear from someone he knows, who knows me.

Seems I was wrong. That is not enough. The problem is that his bank requires him to take security measures for credit card orders, that my bank, stating security reasons, forbids me to accept (sending him paper copies). The problem is his bank, not the store owner himself.

This store has been in operation since 94, so I can sort of guarantee based on that that they've been doing business for a long time.

Isn't there some way for you to send the documents that your bank would approve?

It doesnt seem that they are set up to do business across the globe. Maybe they need to get a better bank??

And the whole $18 shipping rate is completely crazy!

They have a ton of books I need but I dont think I want to work with them just yet.

Manoftheatom should consider helping them out with their inventory and utilizing eBay.

No worries! I thought'd you'd been back longer than that! Go take a nap and have pleasant dreams of comic con. My stuff can wait!
