This one's old news, demand seems to have died recently. I think the last one sold for just over $50. I doubt this one will get a bid.
You never know, maybe Aug02 will need an extra copy to read in the bathroom.

I wish I had seen that shadowman. I had paid $100 to a list member for mine. But they did add a few extras:)

Yeah, I've played the GameCube version. It was a good game that could have been a lot better. The game was way too short, and took a lot of time to load between levels among other problems. They did add a flying mode to this game (you could fly on the back of a winged creature) which was something they had not had in the past. I liked the flying to a point, but I thought they over did it a little.

It was worth playing in my book, cause I love the Turok games. However, like I said it could have better.

FYI,

I checked out two EB games stores within the past week. They knew what I was talking about, but both managers gave me the same answer. Unless you come across a packrat of a manager, those Turok EB variant books are long gone.

So find a packrat of a manager and you'll be golden.

I'm suprised they knew what you were talking about. The stores in my area seem to get a new batch of employees every 6 months.

The first guy I talked to said it before I did, "That's a tough comic to find.", regarding this issue.

Who knows.

Hi,
Do you still have available any copies of the Turok Evolution (EB games
cover exclusive) comic book? I believe these were given away in your
retail stores with purchase of the Turok Evolution game upon its
release. I'd really like to get a copy of the comic and would be willing
to make a purchase to do so. Thanks a lot! Sincerely, Dan Moler

Looks like the seller is selling the comics off ebay. The auction is now closed.

Is there a penalty for doing something like that?

Looks like the top bid was $550 from Christinascollectables.

Why would someone cancel a sure $550 or possibly higher? Im sure the seller would have made a nice tidy profit on it.

It makes you want 5000 to suddenly be discovered and now he cant get $20 each for them. :x

$380.00 in just a few hours. It is a 7 day auction. There is plenty of time. This kind of bidding will sometimes scare a seller into ending the auction.
As I said before.

You called it, X-O!! :thumb:

Maybe someone here got them on the cheap and they are going to sell them to us for a reasonable price. :hope:

More than likely, a dealer got them and will try and bend us over. If that happens, I sure as heck WILL NOT buy. :x

Hopefully it was a collector and not a dealer.

I say if someone here didn't get them, Greg should seriously drop the price in the guide. After all, these did surface JUST AFTER the price was doubled!!

I hope Christinascollectables got them for much more and then just sits on them while they go down in price to a $10.00 book.

In a related topic, I just came across a small collection (about 10) of the EB Turoks.

Anybody who wants one should email me immediately at depluto@mygrandfatherhasacolossaldong.com.

He ships fairly quick and good condition too. Just a shame that he ended the turok auction. Did anyone email him and ask why . Perhaps he is going to list them individualy in order to get a higher return. You never know

It's not a shame, it's just lame. As my momma always told me, "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush." These dork-@$$s that close out auctions early with live bids on them, tick me off.

As many of us have pointed out on numerous occassions, once someone bids on your auction, that becomes a contract with the bidder. Be a man and let the damn thing play its course instead of bailing like a punk.
