You never know, maybe Aug02 will need an extra copy to read in the bathroom.dino wrote:This one's old news, demand seems to have died recently. I think the last one sold for just over $50. I doubt this one will get a bid.fury143 wrote:Not my auction but here may be another issue for you guys to fight over:) SHADOWMAN 2 VOLUME #3 ACCLAIM ( only 750 printed) Item number: 6507801127. I have this one. Hopefully a board member will win and sell me one of the eb turoks! Just dreaming I guess.

Yeah, I've played the GameCube version. It was a good game that could have been a lot better. The game was way too short, and took a lot of time to load between levels among other problems. They did add a flying mode to this game (you could fly on the back of a winged creature) which was something they had not had in the past. I liked the flying to a point, but I thought they over did it a little.
It was worth playing in my book, cause I love the Turok games. However, like I said it could have better.

I'm suprised they knew what you were talking about. The stores in my area seem to get a new batch of employees every 6 months.GJB wrote:FYI,
I checked out two EB games stores within the past week. They knew what I was talking about, but both managers gave me the same answer. Unless you come across a packrat of a manager, those Turok EB variant books are long gone.
So find a packrat of a manager and you'll be golden.

Hi,
Do you still have available any copies of the Turok Evolution (EB games
cover exclusive) comic book? I believe these were given away in your
retail stores with purchase of the Turok Evolution game upon its
release. I'd really like to get a copy of the comic and would be willing
to make a purchase to do so. Thanks a lot! Sincerely, Dan Moler

$380.00 in just a few hours. It is a 7 day auction. There is plenty of time. This kind of bidding will sometimes scare a seller into ending the auction.

You called it, X-O!!
Maybe someone here got them on the cheap and they are going to sell them to us for a reasonable price.
More than likely, a dealer got them and will try and bend us over. If that happens, I sure as heck WILL NOT buy. :x
Hopefully it was a collector and not a dealer.

In a related topic, I just came across a small collection (about 10) of the EB Turoks.

He ships fairly quick and good condition too. Just a shame that he ended the turok auction. Did anyone email him and ask why . Perhaps he is going to list them individualy in order to get a higher return. You never know400yrs wrote:I already paid on the 2 auctions I won from him!!MagnusRF wrote:All Right! That's IT!!!![]()

It's not a shame, it's just lame. As my momma always told me, "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush." These dork-@$$s that close out auctions early with live bids on them, tick me off.
As many of us have pointed out on numerous occassions, once someone bids on your auction, that becomes a contract with the bidder. Be a man and let the damn thing play its course instead of bailing like a punk.
