I am willing to part with #32, but not #33 as it is nice enough to keep. PM me an offer.400yrs wrote:Holy sheep testicles, comicnut!
You want to part with the Werewolfs?
If you are interested in any of the other books, a bunch of them are on eBay this week (ending tomorrow night):
http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfrtsZ0QQfso ... silvermine
I sold about a dozen of the books, including a few of the early issues (Hulk 4, FF 16 & 18, Avengers 6 & 7) at a local con a couple of weeks ago for $1500.
Cheers,
Skiw

Hit the KC comicon today and met a couple of board members! Biggest score was the Solar Alpha & Omega HC and Predator/Magnus TPB for a whopping $25 combined. Also picked up several books for a buck a piece. Even managed to pick up a couple of the Plasm cards in the tins. Yes, I said couple of sets! Hopefully he'll have more tomorrow!
The most interesting purchase is a Unity Limited Edition 11x18" envelope from Capital. Says it's a Capital City Exclusive. Does anybody have an idea what this thing is, or how much it is worth? I wish I could say it was cheap, but I'd never seen anything before, and neither had the other guys, and I just couldn't pass it up. HELP!!!! Thanks. jp

It's a print set with the covers and the combined images of the covers. They go for rather much. Don't remember exactly what. Between $50 and $100? I think Steve just sold one as a board exclusive sale? I've never seen one with a closed envelope for sale. I assume that could bring up the value. The most interesting purchase is a Unity Limited Edition 11x18" envelope from Capital. Says it's a Capital City Exclusive. I go to this hole in the wall place only open 3 days a week in a college town. 40-50 long boxes of back issues. 1 long box of Valiant pulled out of the indies and alphabetized. Nice I thought... I should have left. All the good stuff was gone. I find a few with 1990's prices. She says "no, they're all cover price". Walk up with a Rai #1, X-O #15 pink, Chaos alpha, and Unity #1. She picks up an Overstreet and says how about $16.
I put the X-O back and talked here down to $7 for the other three (needed the Rai #1). Still *SQUEE* me off. Waste of time and gas.
Repeating again... where are all the .25 bins in PA. :x

Last week I won an eBay auction for a NM copy of the hardcover Solar TPB. It was hardly a steal. The freakin' shipping was 1/2 the cost of the thing, since the owner lived in the Netherlands of all places.
Oh well, I've been jonesn' to get that puppy for quite some time. I'm not one to wait too long for something that I've waited years to buy.
Next on the list is a NM CEAR. Though I'm not willing to spend $600 for a NM copy quite yet.

A CEAR 9.8 CGC sold for $1500.00 awhile back! $600.00 might not be a bad price depending on your point of view.david_albuq wrote:Last week I won an eBay auction for a NM copy of the hardcover Solar TPB. When I was five, I dragged my dad into "Mike's Comic Hut"... If only I'd known..
