I have heard Galactus the Devourer issues mentioned as hard to find and expensive.
I found issues 5 and 6 in the backissue bins at my LCS for $3 each so I picked them up, not for investment purposes but to go with the issues that I picked up off the newsstand during my inactive period in comics.
Are these expensive? Did I get a deal?

I've seen issue 6 go for a lot in the past. Here's the eBay search.Chiclo wrote:I have heard Galactus the Devourer issues mentioned as hard to find and expensive.

That's sweet!

I've been collecting last issues as well, some are truly a *SQUEE* to find. At the Baltimore Con this year I FINALLY scored a She-Hulk 60 after a couple years of looking for a reasonably priced/presentable copy.

That's a very good point, and is surprising. I was sort of using this thread to point out where their first appearance is. If Skullkickers remains hot for awhile I would expect this TPB to go up, but the comments I've seen on Skullkickers don't sound favorable.iggy101us wrote:You'd think it would go more than the cover price.

I did not like it much. The art (and color) was very bad the first few pages. And what was the story? I actually spent a thought comparing Morning Glories and Skullkickers.
Not even close in my opinion. I might regret selling all my MG #1 1st Prints, not so much Skullkickers. But I could be wrong.

Skullkickers # 1's going for cover on ebay UK, though some for more too.
MG # 1 sold for £30+ though not many this side of the pond to be fair.
I read MG and it was average.
I prefered a title by Desperado called Necessary evil that was about school kids that went to a villain school, outstanding and a shame it was not cont'd.

iggy101us wrote:#1 issue. Got lots of hype. It's about 2 mercenaries set in medieval/fantasy setting.caxiotis wrote:whats the deal with Skullkickers?
And that is about all I can tell you about the book because that is all that was in the first book.
The only other thing is that for some reason the dude in charge does not like the dwarf and the hulk.
So from reading Skullkickers #1 I can write 2 sentences about it.
MG #1, much, much different.
