Maybe what he really means is this is one of 1,000 other Magnus #24 issues he has in his back room.

:x All I can say is a few weeks ago, I got pretty *SQUEE* walking into my local comic book store, and I saw some dude buy a Bloodshot #0 Platinum for $50.00! I couldn't believe it. I asked the owner Dave why so cheap for like a $700.00 book, his reply,"Nobody cares about that Valiant crap, I just want to get rid of it. I need space for my other stuff."

On the other hand, I did manage to pick up a full run of XO Manowar #1-17 including the pink #15 for a buck a piece! That was cool.

Just send him a note that says...

"Is this what you're describing?"

...

Maybe he'll see the $15 price and take the hint. :thumb:

He includes all this information about the print run numbers but doesn't know the other sig is Bart Sears??

I would love for someone to actually bid on this and make the guy crap his pants and then send him $2.50.

Unfreaking real. How could anyone even think a modern 90's book would be worth more then 50 let alone 200. Does he even check online or do research about what he sells or does he just hope someone is so damn stupid that they will hit the bid. It's got to be a 10 year old who inherit his brothers comics and has no idea about the value of money.

but he's got no friggin feed back :?
Something fishy with the seller: djadico
It's the same auction. Seems like the dude wants to sell this for more than 75 buck. The 428 CGC'd 9.6 averages for about 50 bucks.

I'm gonna keep an eye on this joker. :x

I see the seller has taken $150 off of the price, it's now listed at $100.00. I wonder when he's going to get a clue?

Lets see.....
"UGH! I HATE TO DO THIS, BUT THE EVIL LANDLORD SAYS I'VE GOTTA RAISE $750 BY TOMARROW OR I'LL NO LONGER HAVE A COMIC ROOM"
7-day listing, Ends Jun-28-05 19:31:34 PDT

.....hmmmm.....

"I'M LISTING THESE AT HALF OF THEIR VALUE.. " "GUIDES AT $70 IN NM"
Starting bid: US $49.99

.....hmmmm.....

"MAGNUS ROBOT FIGHTER #9"
1ST MAGNUS

......hmmmm......

"I'M NOT A PROFESSIONAL GRADER"
I HAVE BEEN COLLECTING COMICS FOR 30 YEARS & I'D CALL THIS ONE APRROX NEAR-MINT- CONDITION!

......hmmmm.......

"IF YOU SEE ANY WAVES OR STICKERS IN THE PICS, IT'S IN OR ON THE BAG FOLKS, NOT THE COMIC ITSELF.. "
It's good to know that the $15.00 price sticker in the picture is on the bag and not the book.

I think I will pass thank you.

What a freakin' dummy. He needs $750 by "tomarrow" and he lists the auction for 7 days?

He better hope the evil landlord accepts comics as payment or some other kind of favors.

Jesus. *SQUEE* is at it again.

My first foray into eBay, in late 1998, and this *SQUEE* was my very first negative...

...why?

Because he used to (dunno if he still does) send out this....HUGE...I'm talking 6-7 PAGES...of e-mails to people who didn't meet the reserves on his auctions, saying that all of his books should sell for 2 to 10 times OVERSTREET GUIDE, because they were 'rare', 'scarce', and 'worth every penny'.

Aftera couple of these e-mails, I responded saying 'hey...cut it out. Welcome to the REAL market, where books end at prices the market will BEAR, not what YOU think is a 'great price'.

So...the *SQUEE* leaves me a neg....within, of course, like 3 weeks of me joining eBay. This was before the 'transaction based feedback only', and feedback wars were RAMPANT.

Silly me...I didn't give one back, because...DUH!!...I believed in fair play, and the 'eBay line' ("we believe people are basically good")

Ha.

So...I tried in vain to contact eBay to have it removed, as it wasn't legitimate, it wasn't right, and it certainly wasn't fair. They refused, saying basically that 'we cannot, for legal reasons,

Not wanting to RUIN my BRAND EBAY NEW ACCOUNT, I did NOT give him negative feedback (remember, feedback wars) because I...SILLY, NAIVE ME!!....didn't realize I could DITCH this account and create a new one.

The guy is a COMPLETE *SQUEE* and deserves everything he gets....and none of it good.

As far as 'forum chat' being 'illegal'...he apparently doesn't know that we have this lil' document called The Bill of Rights, the 1st Amendment of which is 'Congress shall make NO LAW abridging the freedom of speech' et al.

It's only ILLEGAL if you accuse him of something which ISN'T TRUE.

Total, absolute, incredible *SQUEE*.

If I can leave him a negative, I will, and gladly. I never got payback for mine. This guy is quite insane. Truly.

I'm fairly certain this guy runs 'comicspriceguide.com', a more self-serving piece of junk I've yet to see.

This guy has WAY too much stuff in his auction. The only thing I saw that related to the picture was the title. Allot of sellers do this as it will get more hits in searchs because there are so many words. Most of which is not even related to the comic.

It seems like he is trying very hard to cover all his bases so no matter what he will come out ahead.
