I doubt that VEI would use prisoners as their new artists . . .

Although . . . they would probably be able to pay them in cigarettes . . .

I would hate to have to toss a few salads in order to get the original art though . . .

Has 3-4 been possessed by C-lo?

Hey guys,

We are going to be making an announcement on Newsarama about the website launch soon (likely Friday or Monday). It would really help if you would go over there and post in that article. I can't tell you how helpful passionate feedback from passionate fans is. Thanks to all who have been posting - here, at newsarama, and everywhere else!

Yeah, but that scene is (sorta) from the cover of Shadowman #1 (1992), isn't it? :hm:

Very cool how they have incorporated it with something new.

I gotta say, earlier this week I was thinking that the new Valiant website wouldn't really be a big deal, but these images are really getting me interested.

Good job, VEI!

The art style looks a little too simplistic for my taste. But hey its still new Valiant

It does look a little like it was clipped from an animated short.

All by itself I'm not to heartily impressed; but then again I've always been more of a story guy and less of an art guy. I'm still waiting for it to be put in some context as to what exactly it means and how things are going to be different with VEI...

Eagerly waiting for Thurs night... :thumb:

I can just see MOTA seeing this and NOT being able to post because he's trying not to waste his 7k'th post.

You know, MAC said he's been working on some "new and different stuff" for DNV. I wonder-though this doesn't exactly look like his "typical" stuff, but...could this be his stuff? I doubt it, but if so HOLY SMOKE!

Ok, for you computer graphic types... here is a challenge:

Give those new pics some movement! Ive seen it in some of the other avatars, put some movement into these new pics! Make the candles flicker in the shadoman one.. make Darque floating around a bit.

In the Bloodshot one, make the computers flicker or the scientist being shaken a bit, make Bloodshots chest raise and fall as he breaths....get creative :)

In the A&A one you could have that arrow bouncing a bit.. the bartender polishing that glass, sudds dripping off of Armstrongs glass.. Archer looking over at Armstrong with a silly look on his face..

Wish I had the time or skill to do these things... :?
