That is remarkable. Does something key happen in that story?
Apparently it has a lower print run of a HOT series. This book has been $15-$20 for a bit now.

But that price is beyond CRAZY.

That and I guess something happens with Apocalypse...he supposedly visits Sandman's sister(DC) ---

until the next reincarnation.
Interesting. Thanks for the info.

The one that went for $81 was a Dynamic Forces edition limited to 50 copies. The regular edition of the book is worth some $$$ but not that much.

Anybody know what a Superman 75 Platinum usually goes for? And how many versions are there? Bleeding or just the "S" shield covers?

If you are just looking for the black bags there are the red bleeding and platinum bleeding. If you want to include the newstand there are 4 printings and a Millennium Edition reprint.

Cheapest on Ebay right now for Paltinum 75 is 79.95 - completed ranges anywhere from 73.00 - 127.00.

Red bleeding I have....I saw 2 Platinums at a store but the girl mentioned one of them was a 500 (or maybe 5000?) retailer edition. Looking at ebay...I see there's a Platinum S-shield bleeding and S-shield "no bleeding drips".... I guess there're 2 Platinum versions.

No bleeding is actually Adventures of Superman 500. The regular bagged edition is white with a red S - platinum is black bag with a platinum S.

ahhhh so. So there's a black bagged version that exists of Adv. of Superman 500:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Adventures-Supe ... 500wt_1202" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And one Bleeding Platinum #75:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Superman-75-PLA ... 500wt_1202" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The chick and the guy threw me off by saying both were Superman #75.

That looks like a real hidden Thing story that fans haven't found yet. I was able to find one for $7 on ebay. There's another recent story that i'm trying to find the print version from Clarkesworld magazine. It tells the story from the Thing's point of view.

Will do and ta very muchly; variants were on the first two monthlies (Web with Hangman; Shield with Inferno variant).

There was also mention of a Mighty Crusaders #1 variant I think (can't recall if it was the one-shot or the mini).

Mile High (prices) lists a variant on #1 of the 6 issue mini; I *think* I remember reading about it as a 1:10 variant. No picture though. :(

Unless I missed something, it looks like Animal Man 1 is bringing the most dough of the 52 1s as far as first prints from the recent DC relaunch goes. Didn't 400yrs (or someone else?) pick that as his sleeper?

Not a comic but these are usually fun to watch.

A very rare sealed Groo trading card box on ebay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SERGIO-ARAGONES ... 500wt_1202" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I think it'll end at around $345.
