Good. I'm glad the new 52 worked for them.
No doubt in my mind Marvel is scrambling.

The only thing about this is all of those DC books are on returns, and there have been ALOT of spare copies of less popular books at the local FP.

Yep. I wonder if the second prints are returnable as well? Anyone know?

The October numbers were astonishing, but the more I think about it, the more I believe it's an inflated number compared to what is actually making it into the homes of comic readers. When I go to the stores, I see a ton of #1 first prints or second prints, lots or #2s and lots of #3s. I think retailers are either stocking up for their shelves after the success of many #1s OR they are going to end up returning alot of books.

The only book I looked at where I didn't see any printing of a #1 available was Animal Man. That tells me people are reading it. Tons of #2s and #3s though.

The Hulk vs Superman one-shot is a good book. Ya gotta love that cover, too!

Here's a nice DHP 51-62 sale.

According to http://www.newsarama.com/comics/new-52- ... 11108.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

"41 of the 52 issues' first printings (noted by asterisks) are "returnable," and Diamond has preemptively under-reported sales of these issues on their charts. Comichron estimates this figure is likely in the 10% range. Subsequent printings of all New 52 issues were not returnable. Meaning while the first printing of Detective Comics #1 was returnable, the second printing was not."

So my guess is that, if the subsequent, non-second print issues weren't returnable, something like Animal Man #2 would be listed as having an estimated 53,432 instead of 48,089.

An Uncanny X-Force set up for grabs. Looking over this seller's completed listings, he's already sold three of these sets in the 115-128.00 range.

This X-Force run has been one of the best x-related books in quite a few years, best x-book going.

I got all those X-Force books as part of my regular pull list ... I was a bit flabbergasted to see how much they sell for. They're good but not that good.

Kind of an interesting way of marketing Acclaim's Bloodshot 5, leading to a sale at 4.99.

According to my LCS, they haven't had many problems and only about 5 titles are what they would consider "goners." If nationwide 8 or 9 of the books end up only lasting a year or so, that's not bad.

Here's one I bet 99% of you never heard of, you will have to log onto eBay to see it since it's in the adult only section:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-13-Mint-Adu ... 500wt_1287" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It's basically manga porn, but the early issues are in demand. I was hoping I could sneak it since there were no bids with 20 seconds left, but as you can see, it went a bit crazy from there.

I knew these things go for a nice chunk of change from discussions on other comic message boards, so I kept an eye on it, but I wasn't going to be the guy dropping $160+ for 13 issues of manga porn. :P

Only one seller has single copies of Detective 880 on eBay at the moment, and he's priced it at 7.77.
Gotta love that cover!
