Are they ever going to finish this series? They got movie deal immediately after the first printing of #1 sold out and then nothing.

The original plan was to do an issue every 6 months or so. Then Simpson broke his arm or wrist or something.
Bi-Annual release for a 32 page comic? That is kind of -- ridiculous isn't it?

Yep. That's why I didn't bother buying it. I'm sure the guy has a day job and this is what he was doing on the side for the love of the art. That's the way alot of Image books are. This is one that just happened to get noticed.

I bought Glory #23 today for the hell of it since Prophet was getting high a few weeks ago. But I don't see it getting much ebay action now.

I did get some extra Adventure Time #1s and Fatale 2nd prints though.

I wonder if the first appearance of Glory is doing anything. It's probably over-printed, though.

Keep an eye on Peter Panzerfaust. I didn't bother buying it because I've read both previous books by the writer, but wasn't very impressed and the preview page art didn't do anything for me. However, it's doing well so far.

Word of warning---- I get more of a Skullkickers vibe from this than something like Chew or Morning Glories.

Any idea why this 1999 reprint of Superman #1 would sell for over $100 in CGC 9.0?

I don't know, but this guy's asking a lot for his CGC 8.5.

Ebay is blocked so I can't view it. If it is the one I am thinking of it came with the Superman Masterpiece Edition Boxed Set.

http://www.chroniclebooks.com/titles/su ... ition.html

If so then it is incomplete as it was part of a set.

Right, but the full set normally sells around $30. Why pay $100 for the book alone? :hm:
