I have two or three of those issues. I think issues 2, 3, 4? Something like that.

Having the auction close on Tuesday afternoon won't help.

Any thoughts on Thief of Thieves #2 my LCS has about 10 on the shelf with one #3 and no #4 left. Are they worth picking up a few at cover?

Any issues from #3-7 are tough to find. Everytime I would ask my comic shops for any Jimbo back issues, they think i'm talking about "Jimbo Jones" from the Simpsons universe and think I got the characters wrong. facepalm

I'd pick up any NM copies.... just run an eBay search for the book under completed items...

Just be careful it's not 2nd printing.

I know I have issues 2 and 3. I just checked, and 4 is on my "list" of comics I have. Not sure why I have them - I am sure someone knew I was a Bongo fan and got them for me.

Interesting.

They're a cool piece of Bongo/Simpsons history. I read an interview where comic shops wouldn't carry it because it was an adult's only book and they didn't want to keep them on shelves. Making the print runs go lower on the later issues.

It's a rough looking b&w comic. Matt Groening based Bart Simpson off of the look of that Jimbo character:

http://www.darkhorse.com/Products/14-17 ... nyl-Figure" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

“Bart Simpson was based on Gary’s character Jimbo, so I will forever be grateful [...] and I owe you a lot of money.” - Matt Groening, October 11, 2006

Fleener #3 is another tough one to find too.

I have a Fleener as well...not sure what issue. Another one of those "not sure where I got it or why I have it".

So i have seen a ton of copies of twd 97, 98, and 99 at my various lcs's. Does anybody know if the TWD print run has significantly increased with issue 97?
Pull List: I only buy TPB's, HC's and Hellboy comics
