Yeah He combined shipping by cramming all the books into one of those priority envelopes. I asked him to keep the non-variants but i guess he didn't see that...anyways i can't complain, $20 US for 3 golds and the harbys, all around NM- condition.dave wrote:man i hope he combined shipping for you or you got had!
er...no wait a minute...you still did fine

You know the funny thing is, right before i sat down to do some searches I had debated whether i should bother or not. You never know. When i saw the harbys i thought i was still sleeping so i jumped on that quick knowing it wouldn't last. Once i got it, i searched his other auctions. He also had a run of harbinger 2-10 pretty cheap that i passed on which now looks to be gone.Elveen wrote:GGSAE wrote:I've said it before, right place at the right time...

those are sweet deals.... that just encourages me to search and search... as soon as I get off buying comic restriction
I really find it hard to believe a big seller like this can just give these harbys away for nothing. And i also wonder how many times this happen when ppl like us don't make a note of it in such a forum.

So I took some time last nite and expanded my search criteria and came across Second Life #1 Reg and Gold (although not titled as such) BIN 4.99 is pretty good shape. As I needed the Gold I snatched it up!GGSAE wrote:You know the funny thing is, right before i sat down to do some searches I had debated whether i should bother or not. You never know. That's cool, just be careful cause sometimes sellers use stock pictures and sometimes put a gold pic (whether by mistake or on purpose) instead of a normal one.SnotDrip wrote:So I took some time last nite and expanded my search criteria and came across Second Life #1 Reg and Gold (although not titled as such) BIN 4.99 is pretty good shape. Nice catch. There's also an X-O 14 and 15 for the same deal. I'm not going to bid, but if someone needs them you might get them cheep. There's still 6 days left in the auction, but why not take a chance.tarheelmarine wrote:http://cgi.ebay.com/X-O-MANOWAR-0_W0QQi ... dZViewItem

Free shipping? Now there's something you don't see everyday. Especially with a starting price like that.tarheelmarine wrote:http://cgi.ebay.com/X-O-MANOWAR-0_W0QQi ... dZViewItem

Well, it's nothing I've gone into yet, but I have someone willing to sell me their entire collection of VH1 VALIANTS. It's mostly complete (no variants or giveaways,) and he tells me "make an offer." I honestly don't know what to offer him, and the really bad part is - my car needs repair and it's not gonna be cheap. I wait for a while to see a nice offer like this, and I finally get a shot, and my car *SQUEE* on me.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.
