But ya gotsta keep you pimp hand strong! What would you have me do to the ho skimmin my bling? Cap her? Rizzle her bizzle nizzle fizzle?!slym2none wrote:I think the fact that 'pimp' has become not only acceptable, but in a positive light, is what's so disturbing. A pimp is someone who has to backhand his ho's when he finds out they are skimming money off the top.
That is NOT a good thing.
I, for one, will never see the term 'pimp' and think anything good about it. That MTV show is ridiculous, not only because of the name, but they don't really make the car or truck better, just appear better.
And that's still not pimpin'.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Ignorance is bliss they say.
Then why can I not get happy?
It's your own damn fault.

I don't really like the term pimp for a blinged out book. I've never heard that before in any of the comic circles I have ventured in.
James Sime here in San Francisco, who runs Isotope Comics (an awesome local comic shop), calls himself a comic pimp. He always wears pimp suits and he says it is his mission to pimp out comics to every person in the world.
The guy is cool as *SQUEE*.
