Milestone is no longer dead

Comic universes no longer active, Bravura, Continuity, CrossGen, Future, Malibu, Ultraverse... and others that are 'no longer with us' today (or only recently brought back).

I'm OK with it, depending on what they do with it. If they kind of leave it alone, then that's fine. No worse than the pre-Crisis Earth that contained Marvel characters, explaining where all those Superman/Spider-Man and X-Men/Teen Titans crossovers were happening.

might make it but chances are he'll reduced to a reserve member of Teen Titans.

I hope I'm wrong but DC's track record in the area of merging their universe with others is very poor to say the least.

Hardware could be DC's version of Iron Man. Even if Icon becomes a second rate Superman clone; Superman clones have done well in the DC Universe. Conner Kent became his own character in Teen Titans. And a well-known Superman Clone, Bizarro is very popular with DC fans. Bizarro is a favorite of Geoff Johns himself. But I agree DC's track record is poor when they incorporate other Universes into their own. I'm still waiting for the Wildstorm merge and the significance to it. The only thing thus far is that the Wildstorm Universe is part of DC's 52 Multiverse.
Actually I think that Batman is already DC's version of Iron Man and Steel is a close second to that role already.
Personally I think DC screwed up Superboy's character in Teen Titans and I have never cared much for Bizarro even before Johns hit the scene. I don't see Icon being anything more as the resident policital correct African-American character in the JLA and I doubt in a few years he'll be anything other than a background character in the DCU.

DC has a ton of characters that have great potential that they already don't use, why add more to it?

I've read in an interview with Paul Levitz that it's more about diversity. That's one of the reasons that they want to bring back the Great Ten.

In light of the re start of these much loved characters here are a few annoying books to get.

In truth i have no idea how difficult these are to get and how much they go for, but no that i dont ever see them for sale myself.

Harware last issue $19.95.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=017

Hardware # 1 platinum $19.95

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=017

Xombi # 1 platinum $19.95

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=017

just in case anyone has been looking for a while and is happy to splash $20 on a premium or HTF last issue.

knowing what some of us are happy to pay for Valiant premuims that pop much more regularly against these that I never see im thinking its not a massive ask.

Although i know some folks also have an issue with the seller.

Who knows?

I kinda lean towards it not being a DU any longer. I mean what if Prime all of a sudden showed up in the Marvel Universe ?

That would depend if it was a Prime from either the Ultraverse OR the Black September-verse, no?

My understanding is that the Milestone characters aren't the same ones that appeared in the Milestone books (in which case I'd say that the Milestone universe is still dead). But I have no idea if that's the case or not. :?

Again it can only be determined on how Marvel themselves tell the story and that alone.
Opinions are void here.
If they relate it past continuity then yes if not then no.

indeed it is, but the opinion of the story teller and their intent is the one that holds the continuity, even if they are full of poop and going against what is the general wishes of teh byuying public.
