But honestly, after the series started, I kind of drifted away as I was looking for some powerful storylines. Maybe I was stuck back in the 'dark days of comics'. You remember, all those anti-heroes and stuff.

Re: Lady Death
First Lady Death mini shows up often on eBay, if you can wade through the piles of crap (lots of folks don't call it 'mini', just #1-3 or thereabouts, making it REALLY hard to find amongst 37 other 'minis') and sells for $15-$20. Not bad, when, in late '94, #1 alone was 'selling' for '$100'tanord wrote:I'm actually looking for the first series of Lady also the first series of Evil Ernie.
The first Evil Ernie set is a hell of a lot harder to come by, but when it does show up on eBay, it sells for roughly $50 a set. Mebbe less, if you don't mind condition.
But it doesn't show up often, so be warned.
And....since nearly every single 1990's book that was 'hot' is now dirt cheap (notable exceptions, natch, are Bone #1-#7ish 1st prints, and Strangers in Paradise #1-#3 Antarctic mini), grab 'em up and enjoy! You can literally, with the exceptions noted above, buy almost every single issue of every book printed by Marvel, DC, Image, etc and the like for $10 or less...usually lots less. CERTAINLY every single regular issue.
Which reminds me.....

Cool, I like the flash table of contents ... did you do that yourself from scratch, or was it a template of some kind?CLA wrote:You will find these at cover price. To take a walk down memory lane, check out my Gen13 website here.

When I went to the link, it attempted to install "GAIN" on my computer.R Daneel wrote:Cool, I like the flash table of contents ... did you do that yourself from scratch, or was it a template of some kind?CLA wrote:You will find these at cover price. For those who don't know, GAIN is the software that runs "Gator"...
the dreaded spyware that tracks your movements on the internet
and allows "pop-up ads" to appear even when you're not online.

If you're ever asked to download and install GAIN... don't.
And if you need to get rid of it... use Ad-Aware...
It's free and it will find all the hidden spyware and dataminers on your system.
(In fact, if you haven't been asked to install GAIN, it probably installed
itself without your permission.)

Interesting, I'll have to check it out.greg wrote:(In fact, if you haven't been asked to install GAIN, it probably installed

I have AdAware and the GoogleToolbar installed, and I didn't get prompted for the install. Was the GAIN install the result of a popup maybe? That might make sense for me, since the popup never got the chance to rear its ugly head.

Each little link is a template which you can create at this site. It's really cool and easy. I don't remember the name of the site, but when I do I'll send it to you by PM.R Daneel wrote:Cool, I like the flash table of contents ... did you do that yourself from scratch, or was it a template of some kind?CLA wrote:You will find these at cover price. See, I'm using this "free" redirect servive, cjb.net. Problem is, it gives a ton of ads to the visitors. I'm just gonna get rid of the service and just use my original address.greg wrote:When I went to the link, it attempted to install "GAIN" on my computer.R Daneel wrote:Cool, I like the flash table of contents ... did you do that yourself from scratch, or was it a template of some kind?CLA wrote:You will find these at cover price.
