Dino, why no logo on the cover? Just curious - seeing the new logo on the front would have amped it up even more for me.

To all, as someone who has never paid any attention to FCBD before, what's the best way to ensure I get a copy of this? Do you pre-order them through Previews, or beg your LCS to hold one for you, or line up like it's the day after Thanksgiving at 5AM and hope you get one?

Do me a favor. Go in as soon as possible, tell you retailer that you saw this and how excited you are. Beg him to hold a copy for you. You'd be surprised how much that would help.

Go to your LCS. Demand it. Then, arrive early on FCBD and fight the crowds of neckbeards eager for the crap Marvel and DC puts out...fight for that one copy of the book you want. Hitting old ladies is acceptable. Just don't let Chiclo see you doing that. He's somewhat of a champion of the older section of the softer gender...

Right back at you!

Also, for those following VEI on Twitter (what am I saying, we all follow Valiant on Twitter), they are having a RT contest for a sweet Valiant t-shirt. Re-tweet early and often to get the word out and enter for a chance to win.

Actually dont, because they are only giving away 5 and I want to up my chances. Thanks.

Any word on who's in the FCBD issue besides X-O Manowar?

Edit: I found the info on this, that Harbinger and Bloodshot are also in this issue.

Certainly an eye-catching cover. I would not have thought to pair Jelena Djurdjevic with X-O Manowar. She did a lot of work with Radical and last year at the poker game, Dino said that Radical's art resembled more pre-production art for movies than comic book art.

I do get what you mean, though. Some like wine, some age like vinegar.

You have to play some music to get you really worked up. Like Final Countdown by Europe or Die Walkyrie by Wagner.

Given ARIC is the subject of the book, I'd suggest he play Die Walkyrie.

I had neither selection available to me on my quest, but chose some nice Mahler instead.

Also, name on list at LCS! They were aware of the announcement already. I'm ready for May now.

I can't freaking wait to hear some creative team announcements! These guys have definitely been talking a big game and saying all the right things to people who know Valiant. That just gives me faith that the guys in charge know what they're doing. I'm enthused and more than willing to give these guys the chance to give me some awesome stories with these characters we love.

The former. I went with Symphony 1, 4th movement. Although Sym 3, 1st mvt would have been appropriate since it has that Winter into Spring/rebirth idea going for it.

That's not an "X", it's a crooked lower case "t", for "time to kick butt".
