My favorite thing involving Silver Surfer is this.
I would agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

i think Dr. Mirage has potential.

if they start over, ditch the awful costume, drop the whole thing with his hot wife, and do it a little darker then it could be good.
Brings up the Acclaim solicit/Mirage script.

Any links to that, again?

I would think any of the old concepts or titles could be reworked into something readable.

In addition, I'm right.

If I'm remembering Dr. Mirage right, it was tied to the Darque Power, right? I think it could be retooled to a very cool tie in to Shadowman.

This is what I would like to see happen. I dont have a "do not bring back" per say

2012

1] X-O
2] Harbinger
3] Bloodshot
4] A&A

2013

1] Eternal Warrior
2] Rai
3] Ninjak [must be very dark. Think a Darker Dark Knight with a sword]
4] Hard Corps [OG team w/ Maniac that is totally off his rocker]

2014

1] Shadowman [need to keep a big title for the 3rd year]
2] Dr. Mirage [keep this light hearted.
3] Timewalker [lays down basis for future timeline books]
4] Armorines
5] Q&W

2015 [after 4 years GK makes its way back home making big news!]

1] Solar
2] Magnus [start of future timeline]
3] Turok
4] Secret Weapons [continues one team title per year]

2016

1] PSI-lords [continues future timeline]
2] Geomancer [I like a past timeline here, with EW and Rai tying in]

I also expect 1-2 new titles in there and this would make for an exciting next 4+ years

You out your *SQUEE* mind! :censored:

SS has been SCREWED by EVERY writing :!: that's laid hands on him after issue 75.

SS is a top tier...just been getting *SQUEE* writers who have not IDEA what to do with him and LACK creativity!

End rant. :hm:
I knew that was coming. :P

I merely meant that the Surfer started off as a background character, the herald of Galactus. Geomancer is something of a herald of Earth's future. Just as the Surfer fits into Marvel's universe, Geomancer could just as easily fit in similarly in the Nuvu with his own title.
Agreed. :)

When I started collecting, the only characters I collected were Iron man, and The Silver Surfer.

You don't know how many writers have *SQUEE* up that character over the years. facepalm
Enjoy.

See, that's kinda wrong considering John Buscema drew SS comic series (not the first appearance) in the very beginning, and kirby drew the last issue of SS.

But between Kirby or Moebius' SS...the thing is, the stories were BOTH 'edited' (never will I call him a writer) by that :censored: Stan Lee... But visually wise, Kirby. :thumb:
I can't attest since I don't have any old Surfer. But I love seeing comic talk invade other forms of entertainment. :thumb:

Love Joe Satch. The man who taught Steve Vai how to fly.

So, I'll put in a plug for one of the best albums ever created, Steve Vai's Passion and Warfare. Check out The Audience is Listening; give it a minute to let it get rolling. The teacher shrieking at the kids is actually his third grade teacher.

Better still, my sister's wedding song, For the Love of God, from the same album.

And while I'm at it, this is the best YouTube find ever: this kid is 15 years old when he recorded this. If you listen to any of these links, DO THIS ONE.

Acclaim did a version of the Psi-Lords? Really?

I agree that all these titles could be revamped and used. My guess since the VEI owners spent so much time and money on getting all these characters we will see some version of them in the future.

And Norrin Radd rocks.

Acclaim took over Valiant comics towards the end of VH1. There was not a VH2 version of PSI-Lords, Geomancer or the Visitor. He is talking about the original versions.

In my personal opinion...
Don't give titles to:
Visitor
Geomancer
Secret Weapons
Psi-Lords
H.A.R.D. Corps

You can include them in your universe maybe, but I think they would be better off creating new characters with their own titles rather than create books around these again.

Any others? I would actually love them see to try and create Armorines again.
I wouldn't miss any of these books especially Secret Weapons. I'd like to see H.A.R.D. Corps in Harbinger but don't think they need their own book.

I never read PSI-Lords but if they let Brandon Graham write it, I would be on board. I love what he's doing with Prophet.

Part of me hopes they don't expand to too many titles b/c I'll want to keep up with all of them and I'll get priced out, as I did with the original Valiant.

Shush! Dr. Mirage was and still is awesome. Something familiar yet different and amazing just like Valiant was.
It's not that I don't have an avatar... I've just been working on it for the last few hundred years.
