I thought Negan's decision to kill Glenn instead of Rick. That just wasn't very believable to me which is why it seemed just to be for shock value. Put yourself in Negan's shoes... If you want to break the group and bend them to your will to get what you want, it just makes more sense to kill their leader. Especially if he has already killed a bunch of your guys, and you recognize how tough he is and that he won't submit easily. Better a martyr than a direct threat. Negan should have killed Rick instead of Glenn.

Yeah, the selection thingy was to show he was crazy, but it felt like a cop out on where the story should've gone. I think the governor would've done it.

That's kind of what made me not really care when it was Glenn.
