Rai #0 is the book to get for any Valiant fan. at least in terms on being a referece point and guide to all the good stuff. it does lack a lot in terms of having anything to actually do with Rai. as far as character development goes, A&A has the best background with X-O also up there.

. Just imagine the fun you can have using "Ninjak" as a verb:
I Ninjak you!
I'm going to Ninjak you up!
Oh, to Ninjak or not to Ninjak? That's the question...

Holding your breath can cause the blues.
1) A & A 0--one of my all-time fav. Valiant comics. Original premise
2) Solar 0--it's just nice, albeit redundant
3) Timewalker 0--important post-Unity book. Very underrated
4) Ninjak 0, 00--yea James Bond meets Shinobi
Weak:
Bloodshot, Harbinger, Shadowman--sorry, the beginning of the whole multiple Shadowmans thing ruined it for me. Led to the garbage that was Shooter's "Many Deaths of Jack Boniface" back-up in Shadowman vol. 3--such a let-down.
2) Solar 0--it's just nice, albeit redundant
3) Timewalker 0--important post-Unity book. Very underrated

I guess you're refering to the multiple Shadowmans being tied to the whole retroactive "Shadowman was made to kill Darque" thing right? Because multiple Shadowmans had nothing to with Alexander Darque killing all the Jack Boniface's in the multiverse in that story. Alex wanted all the Bonifaces killed, not all the Shadowmans.
