Aric of Dacia ('X-O Manowar') is hands-down my favorite character from the current Valiant Universe. One major reason I really like this character is because his title is written by Robert Venditti. This man is an awesome writer. I've eaten up every issue of every comic book this guy has put out since 'Demon Knights' #16. He's like a machine. Another reason I like Aric of Dacia the best out of all the Valiant characters is because he is (so obviously) the flagship character of the Valiant Universe. Aric of Dacia is to Valiant Comics what Superman and Spider-Man are to DC and Marvel, respectively. Personally, I'd love to see a fight between Supes and Aric at some point in the near future.

I regret that I never read a single issue of Solar at all during my youth. He sounds like he'd be an interesting character. Any chance that Dinesh Shamdasani could get back the rights to the character for Valiant?
