Everything else comic-related that's not VALIANT-related.

Batwoman is currently the only one that I know of. The rest of the LGBT characters are in team books or had mini-series years ago (some before they came out of the closet).
Dark Wolverine (Daken) ran for a while as an ongoing.

This thread is not asking about LGBT characters. Just female superheroes. Is Batwoman the most influential LGBT superhero? Maybe. I would not agree that she is as influential as Wonder Woman or Sue Storm. Or even less influential female characters like She-Hulk or the Black Canary.
It's true, regardless of her being an LGBT character, I don't consider her to be THE MOST influential female character in the history of comics. On a side note, wasn't there a writer several years ago (during the old 52) that wrote Wonder Woman as a bi-sexual character?

Does that make her the most influential female character though? Perhaps the most influential lesbian character (or more widely LGBT) but that is a different thing; sexual orientation vs. gender (which in itself is a whole other debate). :)
Very true. This thread has nothing to do with who is the most influential LGBT character in comics. That really should be for a separate thread. This thread is about who is the most influential FEMALE in comics.

Gail Simone, maybe? She is always talking about gay stuff on twitter (I am pretty sure she is not gay herself). She did say that she wrote Black Canary as bisexual but her interest in girls never became a big plot point.

This thread should be titled "who is the most influential female superhero in comics...... AFTER Wonder Woman."
