Kick@ss, Sin City, and Watchmen did oh-kay, not well enough to be the foundation of a universe. Sure, I enjoyed them all, saw them at the theater. But I'm old, that's not the market I think they should aim for.

Just because Marvel and DC have shared movie universes doesn't mean VALIANT can. The big 2 are owned by Disney and Warner Bros. They are their own movie studios with literally BILLIONS of dollars to throw around. VALIANT will have to sell the rights to their movies to various studios. Those movies I mentioned made good money at the box office. Enough so to warrant sequels for all but Watchmen (how would you do that anyway?). That should be VALIANTs goal, right? Make a quality movie, that makes money and leads to a sequel (or two).
