Young, attractive people doing fun and exciting things! If I want to watch that, I will watch sports.
Are you trying to say watching Sulu at the helm never "made it move" a little?

I set it up perfectly. I was hoping someone would come in with the punchline.

Personally, I'm not happy to see the license come back to Marvel. Dark Horse defines Star Wars comics done well [for the most part] in my opinion, and they really earned the right to keep it. My favourite is the Dark Times series, especially when Doug Wheatley is drawing it, and I'm really fond of the SW series set between the original episode IV & V, I'll be sad to see it fold up.

While I have a touch of nostalgia for the old school Marvel SW comics [and still work on collecting that set], its not enough to get me excited to see what the giant bloated corporate Hulking entity is going to do with the license now.

I suppose, with all the news about 'cleaning up' the Expanded Universe material [picking & choosing what will be considered canon, etc.], there is potential for it to have a really good, fresh kickstart - but I'm not very hopeful it will turn out.
I like to draw stuff... http://grendeljd.deviantart.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

My wife likes to draw stuff too, and she is better than me! [I'm very proud of her]... https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sara-Dec ... ref=stream" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I am not happy about Marvel getting the property. After Cross Gen and the Ultraverse I have zero faith in them. Legacy was a awesome title and just getting better and better. Such a shame that these don't get to keep going with their visions.

I was mostly not following comics when Cross Gen was out, but I've heard good things and may track some down some day. Did Marvel buy the company? What's the story there?

I think they were long out of business before Marvel bought them, unlike when Marvel bought Malibu.
Alone, listless, breakfast table in an otherwise empty room.

Disney bought CrossGen then about 10 years later bought Marvel too. Marvel then released those abortive CrossGen mini-series and nothing was ever heard from CrossGen again.
