Dynamite doesn't actually own any of the characters. They purchased the "Atlas Comics" copyright a while back from some random guy. Martin Goodman's grandson still owns all the actual IPs. So Dynamite never had the ability to do anything.StarBrand wrote:What's the bottom line? Has Dyna mite shown any signs of using these characters?

Except MAYBE start an imprint called Atlas Comics or change their name to Atlas Comics.BugsySig wrote:Dynamite (sucks!) doesn't actually own any of the characters. Know this: I would rather be hated for being honest for my opinions, than being loved as a liar!

True. Probably more like one of their usual dick moves where they were either going to start making books without the IP rights, or try to use it as leverage to get the rights for cheap.Cyberstrike wrote:Except MAYBE start an imprint called Atlas Comics or change their name to Atlas Comics.BugsySig wrote:Dynamite (sucks!) Nothing yet... As I mentioned earlier in this thread I sent a message to Dynamite concerning the Atlas mark thru the web site. I did not receive a reply. Months later I tried to access the forum section of the site and got the following message - Sorry. The administrator has banned your IP address. To contact the administrator click here.
I did try accessing the forum on a different PC and was allowed access. That's pretty weak...
