i hear what your saying, but no those are not good examples... the thing is Joe quesada has said in interviews that ninjak was one of the best characters ever, and was totally lost on valiant...
He used some of the design elements on his character Ash, but nothing like Ronin..
So, from what I understand, ronin was created in 2004 by Joe Quesada and is a complete Rip off of Ninjak from a character design perspective, but not nearly as much as the movie version.
the comic version of ronin is WAY different from the movie version,
and really im realizing that it was more based off of the mike manley acclaim redesign..
im sorry i dont do well posting pics...heres some links for comparison

Yes I hear what your saying but also Mother reminded me of Magnus, Altered Carbon's city in the sky totally reminded me of the Milespire, Better than us is totally Magnus without Magnus. They list the 3 rules of Isaac Asimov's Law of Robotics FFS, same as our boy. At what point do you say enough already?? If the Alien head is phallic and Ridley Scott says no it isn't then who do you really believe? Its there as proof right in yo face

While you make valid points and it is pretty clear that Ronin is not a ripoff of Ninjak - greg pointed out that they were both designed by Joe Quesada, so it would be fair to say that they were both drawn from the same well.lorddunlow wrote:Guys... Ronin is literally a character that is another persona of Hawkeye in the comics. He predates the MCU in the comics. A ninja character is not a ripoff of Valiant. Also, X-O is a ripoff of Iron Man, so Iron Man can't ripoff X-O... And nanotechnology is an actual thing... Just saying nanotechnology doesn't mean it's a ripoff of Bloodshot.jakgrimm wrote:I have to agree with ValiantDude. Something is going on...

But would you agree the movie version is far more similar than the joe quesada designed comic version? Who designed the movie version?
Remember it was NINJAK vs the valiant universe... it's all about crushing the competition...
