Wouldn't hurt to ask him about it. He posted on here for a bit some years ago. I think just to sell some art.
It's hard to tell from that little pic if that's the final piece or just a preliminary they used for the ad? Looks pretty detailed but not really like Layton inks
IIRC the only time Lapham drew Magnus for publication was in the 2 Unity issues of Harbinger. edit - oh duh also the Rai flipbook issues.
