I have to agree that most of the post birthquake issues with the exception of some blood shot issues sucked. I also have to say that the Deathmate issues were also dishonorable but mainly due to the lateness on images part.
Actually most of the birthquake issues have a story that take more than 2 minutes to read. Compare this to some comics which I read this year from other companies. I've read fathom by image and love the story. When Aspen came out this year I thought i'd give it a try. I paid 9$ for the set issues 1-3 since I think the issues were $2.95 cover price. I've never felt so insulted in all my life. These book were just a bunch of splash pages with words thrown in places for decoration. To top it off half of the book was letter columns and promos for other books. I think the whole 3 issues would equal one valiant book.
