With gas prices, I can't blame you.

Should the Solar trade release date be added to the list?

You might consider using italics for those issues which have not been released yet, and use regular font for those which have; notwithstanding the year they are released

What do you think?

This was a good idea, but I've let it slip due to time constraints. :|

I updated the top post in this thread. The this month at a glance feature now shows info for May. I've noted the improbability that Dr Solar 7 and Turok 3 will meet their current scheduled release dates of May 11th.

You've got release dates out to 2012 already? :P

Maybe 2013... who knows? LOL I'm trying to be unemotional about their scheduling problems so far. Perhaps they'll solve them soon. :)

I'm just sad about them. The fact that we have stories, and the greatness of the stories is currently being overshadowed by the shipping schedule, and that's a shame.

I'm still on board, but, like I said, I'm sad.

You nailed it. Dr Solar 5, 6, and Turok 2 are nothing short of brilliant. It is bittersweet right now, but if they get their scheduling act together, this still could become a great line.

Just discovered TFAW has taken all books from this line that haven't been released off their site, except Magnus 4 and Samson 3. Hopefully they're just getting ready to revamp the schedule for the line. :thumb:

Before I take the scheduled release dates off the top post, I'll wait a few days to see how this hashes out.

Just wondering why Dark Horse pulled all the release dates past May for this line at TFAW.com... hopefully they're rescheduling all the books, and it's not anything bad. :|

How come Magnus 4 is due out on the 25th of May, but Magnus 5 is a couple of weeks before that?

Since Dark Horse has taken down all future release dates for this line, except for Magnus 4 and Mighty Samson 3, I've done the same in the top post.

Yeah, that was bad. Hopefully, that ties into why they took all their release dates down, so they can redo them, and it's nothing more than that.

We complain like crazy that Dark Horse.com keeps up old, arbitrary release dates they're not going to be able to make and then when they take them down, leaving only the dates the books will really ship on, some of you guys assume they're not shipping? Shouldn't that have been what they did in the first place and the normal thing to do in this situation, instead of litering the net with false shipping dates? I'm sure they'll put the dates for the next issues when they're sure they come out. If they cancel the series they'd be listed as canceled. I assume after the May issues ship we'll see some in August (or late July on some titles if we're lucky).

BTW, there's no cancelation for the books listed with Diamond and then there's the fact that creators are still working on the books...

Some of it is my fault, I guess. But, generally, I've stayed ahead of the artists -- that is, they usually weren't waiting for script. It hasn't been hard to stay ahead of them. One artist took four months to draw an issue of an every-six-weeks book. At this moment, however, I have THREE artists waiting for script, so excuse me, I have to get back to work. : )

Word of the cancellation came on Saturday May 7th after both of those posts by Shooter & Blambot - Seeing as how the Diamond offices are closed on the weekend then there wouldn't be any announcement from them yet. I wouldn't expect to see anything from Diamond until just before the next Previews is released. Before then we should hear the news from other Comic Media outlets about the situation.

I would say that's a pretty reliable source.
