Original Solar # 1, Vintage Magnus # 1-4, Timewalker 0-15 & Yearbook, VH2 Bloodshot # 14, Magnus # 3 & 8 with no card and 9. Grand Total? 25 bucks. I had never had Original Solar or V.Magnus 2-4 and had traded my extra copy of V.Mag 1. I also had not gotten issues 0, 6 or 10 of Timewalker. I am closing in on a double set of of Pre-Unity Magnus. Solar is the only other one I've had luck with. The reason the 25 is so nice? It was a half off sale.

Not a chance. Reader issues, but really that is fine by me. So now I just need issue #1 and issue #4 I believe to finish the set. I was pretty excited to find 2 more issues for .50 each.

Oh well, Ronin is one of those sets from when I was younger that I'm trying to get in 9.8 now. It's tougher than I would have thought.

If they were 9.8 quality, I would have happily read them and sent them to you.

I don't think they are that beat up, but no way 9.8.

I think reading a comic automatically makes it no longer a 9.8 . . .

Found another spot that does the "Quarter Over The Cover Price" as well as a decent Dollar Bin. Harby TPB W/#0 was placed in a new bag, they had one sealed but all banged up books inside so I got this one. The Deathmates & Armorines Were a buck and the rest were a quarter over the original cover price, good cause I was thinkin it was sticker price so that went well

Previously unpilfered LCS

Post by wallywest »

I found an LCS that I didn't know existed (they deal in toys and other collectibles mostly, but have some long boxes full of random Moderns). I am a pre-Unity kind of guy, but I couldn't pass these up for $1 each:

Chaos Effect Omega Gold
Armorines V2 #s 1 and 3
Shadowman V3 #s 3, 4 (x3), 5 (x2), 6 (x2)
Deadside #3
Solar: Hell On Earth #3
Turok 3: Shadow Of Oblivion
Turok Dinosaur Hunter #s 43 and 44
Solar Man Of The Atom #s 57 and 58

All were bagged and boarded, and look unread. Sadly, there was no pre-Unity to be found. But, I am hopeful these will bring enough on eBay to finish my pre-Unity set :D . If anyone wants to circumvent the eBay process, PM me.
