One of the few Marvel titles that interests me is Tales to Astonish:

#14? Is that the high wire cover? I'm at work and don't have references. If so, it's one of my favorite covers. Let me know how it grades and if you should want to part with it!

Look, seriously? Please either stop throwing comics away, or stop telling everyone you're going to.

There are PLENTY of people on this board who will GLADLY pay you a handling fee plus actual postage to take these books off your hands.

I can understand throwing away a low grade Arion #16....but FF #57 in VF-?

We will certainly see, I'm culling some books soon as I ship some back to the states for permanent storage!

It was just one of those things. I saw the cover, knew I wanted to start GA somewhere to get used to non-semi NM books, and knew this was a book I had to have - because I just fell in love with the cover. With the Dark Knight all things are possible

Yeah, I've bid on some 43s in the past, but never got 'em. That and #42 are a BEAR to get. I've even owned a #47, but ZERO 42s and 43s.

I like the Neal Adams Batman run for a couple reasons:

1. Post 1970, one would be hard pressed to find another artist/character combo that has such a balance of significance and dopeness (I'm assuming you mean Detective as well)

2. They are rather easy to find, supply is not really and issue. For the dollars you can find any of them and rather conveniently.

I'm not share what you grade standards, but in my upcoming cull, I may be wanting to move a CC 9.0 of #222 (Beatles knock-off issue). Only reason is because I have what looks to be a raw 9.4. (which incidently one has gone for (what I thought) was a rather high prices lately)

3. Batman is the Gotti of all Comic characters.

I had a typo - the one I will be looking to move is a CGC 9.0. - the 9.4 raw is the one I'm keeping.

OK...how much you want for the CGC 9.0?

Interestingly enough, 2 weeks ago I was going to say $100 (which is about average according to GPA - slightly less actually) - but I have started to see some interest in the issue in slightly higher grades so I am going to be with some interest on other sales in the next month or so before I cut down some of my comics.

Maybe Beatles fans are waking up!

I'd say thats a pretty fair price and a pretty accurate statement

I think you guys are getting your "Gobbledygooks" mixed up. Jay made sure he put the 1986 date in there, meaning it's the very common version, not the rare one with the first appearance of the Turtles in an ad.
