6 Flags? so they're practically an amusement park. don't know how fun that park is though they seem to film COPS there a lot.

COPS is in Amarillo filming now!

The six flags refer to the six nations (at least in the since of countries as we understand them; not to include the first nations) that have occupied Texas. Spain, France, Mexico, the Republic of Texas, the Confederacy and the United States. France's inclusion is a little sketchy since they claimed only a relatively small sliver of the state and that claim was short-lived and never tested nor was a discrete boundary ever determined.

Several buildings and a couple of the officers.

A few years ago, I was watching COPS in El Paso and they were called to the downtown bridge bordercrossing and I excitedly proclaimed "I have been in that room!"

I have walked across the downtown bridge bordercrossing in El Paso, too. There was no need to go into a room. Why did they need to pull you into a room? Did you get "searched"? :o

It was the main room, where customs is.

I have not been searched but have twice been questioned at the border. Once for shirt smuggling and once because they thought I was a Mexican mennonite trying to cross with forged credentials. The shirt story is actually kind of good.

How did you prove you weren't a Mexican mennonite?

It would be awesome if you just sang the COPS theme to prove you were American who watches TV. :D

For the question about non-extraterrestrial aliens, I asked a question on Law and the Multiverse about where X-O would have citizenship:

http://lawandthemultiverse.com/2013/04/ ... -last-man/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It didn't occur to me that Aric would actually be the king, and I didn't make it clear enough that he would be considered a citizen of the Visigoths but only a subject of Rome. But the general answer was that he's probably got citizenship somewhere, even if exactly where depends on the details.

On that note, does anyone know any good quotes from OTV crew? And if so, do you know what episode? I'm not a walking OTV encyclopedia.
