I read Sigil from #1-29.

I was very good in the begining..... then just ok...

The later issues became a very quick read. Un-necessary double splash pages.

But still a pretty good read.

I also just read the Smax (a Top 10 off shoot) mini-series, #1-5.

I really liked it. It was clever and funny, and I dug the colors.

I will for sure re-read it sometime.

Now I am going to read some MtG books.

Let me know if it stays good through the end. That's a run that I'd like to pick up where I quit collecting back in the 90s. How can it not be good though? It's Groo.

Between Death of the New Gods and Salvation Run, I am more excited about DC than Marvel. :( :o

Not my current reading list (I'll post the latest version of that soon), but the bunch of books I am visiting/revisting amongst my up to date reading is Blue Ribbon from Red Circle, a 1980's book (taking the name of a Golden age book) primarily featuring the MLJ/Mighty Crusaders stable of heroes in solo stories.

I haven't been picking these up, but I am really looking forward to gettign them in trade. I hear they both play into the upcoming Final Crisis, which I am looking forward to.

I hope they don't take their time getting them into trade (or give them the hardcover treatemtn first)

I read the Fallen Angel MtG prestige book.

It was pretty good. I can't help it, I like the D&D type-stuff.

Is that the book by PAD? A friend of mine keeps telling me how great it is, but it's one of the few books written by PAD that I've never read.

Actually, I do not think it is.....I think some chick worte it. :? Reguardless.... a pretty good book, and not a quick read... which I like.

Some of the art is kinda like the Master Darque book, and then some is like Fables..... very interesting.

Nope. That is a DC book.

The cover is this with a different background.

It is a Armada Magic the Gathering book.
