Sounds like you're a big "X" fan, but you don't read the best "X" book out there---X-Factor
Yes he is.

I hope X-Factor maintains that excellence following the departure of Peter David.
PAD is leaving the book? When and why? :(
I found out when Chiclo mentioned it in another thread, I think he is leaving after Messiah Complex, so, well, now.

Are you sure? I haven't seen any news about him leaving the book. If this is true, it stinks!

Kind of like Goldmember from the last Austin Powers movie.

Except that sick SOB was always tempted to eat his first before he would put it into his "skinbox". :o

I just finished off collecting Fireside books (Origins of Marvel Comics, Bring on the Bad Guys...even a Marvel Cookbook and Strength + Fitness Book, go figure). Besides some odds and ends, I also completed my Treasury-sized comic collection.

When - right before Messiah Complex.

Why - I don't know.

I've said it before, though, he is doing a great job on She-Hulk.

I have a large DVD collection. I want to say I collect Criterion disks but they are too pricey to keep up with all 400+. I did just get my Briefcase Blade Runner with the workprint and my limited edition copy of Evil Dead 2 is signed by Bruce Campbell. Lots of TV on DVD Buffy, Angel, Firefly, BS:G, Lost(trying to finish season 3 by tomorrow, not likely to happen, thank god for my DVR), ATHF, various anime.

Back issue comics-wise I am working on my Valiant reading editions as well as early 90s Wildstorm, and an occasional crossgen run Ruse, Way of the Rat, the Path and Sojourn. Monthly I have on my pull Cassanova, Fables, Jack of Fables, Fell, Doktor Sleepless, Buffy, Angel, Daredevil, Batman, and I am still going to buy Amazing Spiderman until the Bachelo run in April, at that point it will be 12 issues in and I can pretty confidently decide if the retcon was worth it. A lot of my collection though will soon be out of the long boxes and on the bookshelves so I am having to find a few back issues to plug the wholes, luckily this site has been pretty much the awesome at getting my full run of A& A, Ninjak, Bloodshot, and Magnus together in a fairly short amount of time.

While its not really something I actively collect ever since the birth of my daughter the amount of toys piled up in her room and the retired ones in my basement are staggering to me. Luckily there is a very well run Salvation Army store I can make a trip every couple of months and donate to.

Does 2 cats count as a collection?

Besides fish.... I collect Valiant. Main goal is to have every issue of course (allthough im not sure im willing to shell out cash for a bloodshot plat, or the diamond tpbs. Secondary goal is just to amass a ridiculous valiant collection (which is working so far lol)

Crossgen--same thing really. Workin on every issue. Going real real good so far. Main thing is the tpb's, so dang many. Not worried about edge or forge, can get those cheap, all those regular issue ones though..picked up 15 of the regular so good start.

Broadway comics---havnt picked up any, but i will. Robotech series, GI joe series, transformers (just original series for now.) Punisher, The Nam.
And various other crap that I can get full runs of cheap.

Toys---I just buy a toy here and there and put it in the attic. Not really for me. When my kid gets older i will just give them all to him. Nothing great really.

Quite alive at least for the time being, they have a habit of walking in front of me in the morning between the bed and the nightstand where my glasses are.
