Idiomatic translation. Something like how the chinese word for helicopter translates directly as "iron butterfly" or the spanish word for faucet handle is "key for a sink". I guess a more accurate representation would be those guys that are translating the Bible into Klingon. There is no word similar to lamb, so in Klingon Jesus is the Targ of God.
