What I have so far:

Haven't really decided if I want to add more of the rays or not. There's another idea I have as far as varying the size of the rays but I haven't tried that yet.

Yeah, looking back it appears that Solar's hand is actually fine but there is some sort of Escher-effect with his hand that makes his index finger look like a thumb on a hand twisted back and the thumb looks like the tendons in the arm.

sweet, i'd say maybe darken and complete her hair and maybe try every other ray colorized. great job

Greg's rainbow effect and Loki's wifes' version... if you could combine those two, it would be near-perfect.

I really like the hand-coloured look of L's wifes version!!!

Yeah, I was thinking that too; I was using the Solar cover as reference just to see how it'd go first.

I'm still stumped on an idea for the background so I just figured I'd put up two possibilities:

These aren't the final colors; it's just a way of trying to see what'd happen if all the rays were colored, or every other ray was colored. Naturally once I get a consensus on which background idea works better (or better ideas) I'll go and use that and fix it up.

First off, let me just say that everyone has done an awesome job working on the colors for this piece. Very cool stuff.

Now of these two, I think that every other works much better.
