A good point dude.StarBrand wrote:I think an incredibly successful launch of a new Shooterverse would bring interest to all his previous universes. (New Universe, Valiant, Defiant, and Broadway)
That's what I expect if this Dark Horse Gold Key launch is incredibly successful. If the books are as good as early Valiant I expect this launch to be incredibly successful at some point.
Just one fan's opinion.
Lets face it when we werent all so broke a few years back and the promise of new books loomed ever close, the interest in all Shooters previous work was at massive high.
Always talk about Defiant, Broadway and more Universe than i ever recalled previously in 20 years, so we will see.
Im not sure the prices will go up as there is enough product to go around, but the sales will increase im pretty sure of that.

There's some real crazy talk going on in here.
250k Valiants... wooooooo!
That would keep me awake at night. "My God... they're all downstairs... just sitting there... in those longboxes... in their bags... with their boards... full of wonders... must... go... check... they... are... safe.........."

I'm one book away from a reader set. I still need to read about 85% of the stuff past Unity as I never have. Not sure I really want to though.superman-prime wrote:read them all
I probably had about 2K books at one point, but I've trimmed that way down to a reader set and about 4 short boxes of Pre-Unity and variants.

I said that I’d be content with having everything through the serial number contest but I seem to always pick up a few issues when I dig into discount bins. I’m debating if I should just make the conscious decision to have one of each VH1 book.
Things are a little tight with the holidays, but when I have a little more free cash maybe you guys could help me complete one title at a time...
Oh, so that I don’t completely derail this thread any further my Valiant collection is tiny compared to most of you. I have 1 3/4 long boxes filled with few duplicates.
