Change could be anything but these come to mind..Speculation,prices going up and not enough issue for value,artist or writer leaving a title or publisher,lack of character development,loss of continuity(to me that is an important one,and could lead to me dropping a title for awhile if it happened in a book I was reading),book coming out late multiple times,public becoming not interested in title,economy down or other reasons I cant think of.
If I just can't be me ,and the Arrow isn't enough.. then maybe I should be Ra's al Ghul

Not sure what analysis I can add, but it is extremely interesting to see. It would have been a lot cooler if numbers from the later 80s through now were readily available, but you can only work with what is available.
It was interesting seeing the titles fluctuate in the Marvel numbers. Wow, did DC bomb for a while and boy did the new 52 succeed in helping them sell books!
Image is mostly interesting to watch the rise of TWD and the fall of Spain and Savage Dragon.
