I think that the "Wisdom of the Crowd" is a very interesting phenomenon, which probably had little to do with the outcome of the auction... except that pointing it out after the fact is fun.

Would be fun to see if the Wisdom of the Crowd had said $500 or $2000, I wonder if bids would have gravitated to those amounts. I personally know a few people that were bidding in this auction, but also bidding on this game, and one big buyer that missed this auction a day too late Nice catch though, Greg! Cool phenomenon.

I had a good time and I hope everyone else did too.

I'll echo that too. I've been collecting Valiant books for a long time, and this cover is by far one of my faves. I love it!

I just did a quick scan of the list, and $1200 was right in the middle and still available and every number around it for hundreds of dollars was taken, so I spoke for it on a goof.
