SOLAR Statue from Dynamic Forces

If I've reading this right, the litho's been scrubbed, is that right?

Does this mean that the Comic Shop Newspaper (CSN #942), which features a picture of the litho on the front, and an article on the statue inside might be worth something>?

I was told by my LCS that the litho was scrubbed for sure. Not sure what anything featuring the litho would be worth ... probably not much.

I don't remember there being somewhere to order the artist's proof. Maybe they sent them out to customers who bought 3 statues and therefore qualified for the remarked litho (?). Or maybe that ordered the litho.

I got one of the Solar statues in today.
I actually forgot I had it on order direct from Dynamic Forces.
It's number 23 of 250.
I think the box is neat and the statue looks better than I expected.

I had the litho on order too. The invoice listed it as "backordered".
They threw in about a dozen DF edition comics, some signed and with
certs etc. Works for me.

I am not sure, but I think the manufacture and artist proofs are the same thing as nobody has posted about getting the artist proof, so I think the 250 is accurate as a production number.

my retailer had a mistake made to them by Diamond...

he ordered 4 for me...he rcvd 4 of the regular ones and then rcvd 4 more which were artists proof...

they actually say artists proof...

Very nice!

So then there must be 300. Is there any differences between any of the statues besides the bottom? Also, dont laugh, what is an artist proof, and a manufacturing proof? Are the artist proofs handmade or what?
