Re: The Gallery Discussion Thread
I just got word from CGC that the Harbinger 32 I submitted earlier this year graded 9.8. That will complete my CGC 9.8 run of Harbinger.
I'll post it to my gallery when it comes in.
I was thinking of finishing Rai next. Or maybe Shadowman. Or X-O. Or Solar. Or Bloodshot...

It's a postercard from 1993 that states:StarBrand wrote:Bosco, any info on that Ninjak piece you posted a pic of? What is it?
Ninjak #1 - by Mark Moretti, Joe Quesada, Jim Palmiotto, and John Cebollero. Colin King, a.k.a. NINJAK wages war against Dr. Silk and his worldwide criminal organization -- WEBNET! The first issue of this exciting series begins in November, 1993.
It is marked as POSTCARD No. 2, so I would love to see what series of cards this was tied to.
Re: The Gallery Discussion Thread
Thanks. I'm sure someone here will know more about the cards. Hopefully they'll see this thread.bosco685 wrote:It's a postercard from 1993 that states:StarBrand wrote:Bosco, any info on that Ninjak piece you posted a pic of? What is it?

It's a cool looking card. I wonder if they had originally planned to use that artwork for the first issue.
Now I need to decide if I will play that Valiant 1994 VHS tape. That thing has been in storage for years.

Thanks Graham.
It's pretty neat, as it has many of the covers from that period in black and white, along with extra images of some great characters. And the video I may not have to play as someone shared there is an online conversion that someone did a while back.

There are several post cards. There's a Ninjak one, a Harbinger one and I think a Shadowman one. There are 4 or 5 and I know I have all of them around here somewhere. No. 1 features Harbinger 25.bosco685 wrote:It's a postercard from 1993 that states:StarBrand wrote:Bosco, any info on that Ninjak piece you posted a pic of? What is it?

My original owner copy of Archer & Armstrong 0 Gold sent to me by Valiant after I wrote in to tell them about how amazing I thought this series was, and what an impact the #0 issue had on me.
I'm a little jealous. This one has eluded me. Congrats Bosco!

Thanks!
That A&A was my best gift directly mailed by the original Valiant team. And the shocking part was they had sent it in one of those stiff mailers that took quite the hit during shipping, and still remained sparkling.

Sweet snag, Graham ; looks like a very tight copy.FormerReader wrote:
Would you say it's actually in the same NM/M condition it was described to be in? Again, FWICT, with the exception of a touch of white at the ULC and LLC points, it looks very, very sharp.

I think it is close to the same conditon as the seller stated. I was pleased with the purchase. It is without a doubt a 9.4 and I feel very good saying a 9.6.
I would not grade it a 9.8 though.
