not true, the Fonz was cool when I was a kid.
The Fonz' coolness can not be argued or debated, PERIOD!
When I saw the epi. when he crashed jumping the busses at Arnolds, I was genuinely upset. It might be the first time TV really effected me as a kid.

Re: Age
If I'm p!ssed off that I have to pay 3 bucks for a comic now compared to 1 buck when I was young, how must YOU feel when you only had to pay 10 cents dac? You must be LIVID!dac55 wrote:I guess that would be me.bnasty71 wrote:There's gotta be one person in this forum thats either 50 or older...come out, come out where ever you are.I'm 52 . The old guy.

Re: Age
Newsstands (well news agents in the UK) would sell comics (mainly DC's where I lived in the very early 80's) at about 20 pence a pop. Now I pay around £2.15 GBP at my LCS (although I get 10% discount from the final tally - so about £1.85 GBP). That's x9 what I was paying back when. Is it unaffordable? For kids maybe. I have none (phew...) but they will surely be needed to start buying comics if the medium is to survive (at least as a print medium).cobra_commander wrote:If I'm p!ssed off that I have to pay 3 bucks for a comic now compared to 1 buck when I was young, how must YOU feel when you only had to pay 10 cents dac?
