I trust VEI to have flushed Acts of God down the toilet by now. :thumb:
That's not what I asked. Do you think Faith'll be a heavyweight or be a hottie?
Honestly, I would prefer they focus on what actor makes works the best for the role rather than try to match the look. My hope is they don't purposefully go for the hottie for marketing purposes, though.

I don't know if Nikki Blonsky would be too old but in my mind, she fits Faith.

That's what I said
The looser the waistband, the deeper the quicksand
Or so I have read

Big bottom, big bottom
Talk about bum cakes, my girl's got 'em
Big bottom drive me out of my mind
How could I leave this behind?

What about Mia Tyler (daughter of Steven, sister of Liv) with blonde hair? I have no idea if she can act, though...

Nikki is just turning 20, though. Mia is 30. Though I am not discounting the look. I don't know if Nikki is a good actress or not though, I never watched Hairspray (or anything else she might be in for that matter)

All I am saying is I am sure there is going to be a decent actress who is a bigger girl who can play the part. The main question is, will the producers feel the same way?

It depends on whether they are like Nicieza and think that people will watch the movie if there is an attractive girl they can fantasize about, or whether they are more like Shooter and want the movie to have depth.
:atomic: Comics are like a Rorschach test, everyone has a different opinion on what they are and can be... :atomic:

What's wrong with wanting a girl with depth to fantasize about?

Why can't you fantasize about VHONE Faith?

Did MotA just acknowledge VHTWO?

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

hopefully they'll stick with shotter's vision for faith-there are still two other "hottie" roles to fill so they don't NEED to make faith anorexic...

So with the Valiant Relaunch, hopefully we will see some rocking movies come out on some of our favorite characters.

I just finally saw Chronicle last night. The director would be perfect for a Harbinger film. The Seattle scenes reminded me of the showdown between Sting and Harada.

Has there been any word on the movie still being made or not? With the state of Comic Based Movies currently, I would think that this would be the ideal time for a studio to jump on making it and making it good to rack in those big box office receipts in a year or two from now.

I think the longer they wait the more chance people will be disillusioned about comic based movies like Green Lantern and Ghost Rider 2... (2 movies I refused to see).

Hopefully whoever makes them will make the VEI movies more like The Crow or Kick-*SQUEE*.

I think Harby would make a better cable TV series than a film. 10-13 ep seasons of plot and character development vs a film that might be 2 hrs...no brainer imo
