Don't remember if I clicked the link (as I don't go to that board much.. I stick to here and ebay) but I know I bought both comics on your advice.kjjohanson wrote:No one even bothered to click on my link, right?kjjohanson wrote:So, I've been looking to grab a Marvel Super Heroes #13 and upgrade my Ms. Marvel #1, because I expect big increases here. Saw a thread over on the CGC boards where someone was selling three Ms. Marvel #1s, but *someone* beat me to it by a half hour:

If I just can't be me ,and the Arrow isn't enough.. then maybe I should be Ra's al Ghul

New movies on the way and first Fett in comics = upside.
Boba Fett origin
I have two copies of #42, one is trashy but the other is pretty tight for condition. I got them both super cheap a couple years back (like maybe $1-$2 each, the better condition copy was part of a set of the movie adaptation issues). I was very surprised to see copies of it going for $30+ at the recent Toronto ComicCon... I know Boba Fett is incredibly popular, but this one is just an adaptation of the SW:ESB movie after all, nothing new added to the myth of the characterElveen wrote:...... and New Marvel Star Wars books also.hulk181man wrote:Star Wars 42

I've sold a few of these the last few shows. Good action on this book right now.

I did pay about $20 for a NM#68, also a couple years back... it was worth it

There was a Ms Marvel CGC 9.8 that went for $1800 in a CLink auction last week. Should be interesting to see where this eBay auction ends up:comicsyte95 wrote:Don't remember if I clicked the link (as I don't go to that board much.. Slapstick #1 - I could see some real promise in a Marvel movie or TV show from that one.
But I own 100 Turok #1s.... so what do I know?

Re: Underappreciated/Undervalued 1st Appearances
I already had copies of Nova #1 and Ms Marvel #1 that I got from discount bins at cons years ago, but I wanted a decent condition of the Ms. Marvel #1, so I recently picked up a CGC 9.6. Also grabbed a Marvel Super-heroes #13, but I'm going to look for a better copy at NYCC.Elveen wrote:I picked up a Ms Marvel #1 this weekend. Not CGC, but still a pretty nice copy.

Pretty sure Groo is owned by Evanier and Argonies. But I would love a Groo cartoon.
