I have no idea where to even start when it comes to decrypting this series of dots and lines. Totally lost.

People should decipher the code for themselves, so they can find out there is an error in Rex-O's dialog for themselves.

Livewire's response is spot on though!Dr. Solar wrote:People should decipher the code for themselves, so they can find out there is an error in Rex-O's dialog for themselves.
Well it's not very difficult to decipher anyway and now I'm almost fluent in Rex-o-talk.... but my eyes hurt a little.

It's not difficult to decipher once you have the cipher.Sunlight on Snow wrote:Livewire's response is spot on though!Dr. Solar wrote:People should decipher the code for themselves, so they can find out there is an error in Rex-O's dialog for themselves.

Developing the cipher in the first place took quite some time.

Didn't you start with the URL from the Secret Edition?Dr. Solar wrote:It's not difficult to decipher once you have the cipher.Sunlight on Snow wrote:Livewire's response is spot on though!Dr. Solar wrote:People should decipher the code for themselves, so they can find out there is an error in Rex-O's dialog for themselves.

Re: Extra Secret Secret Weapons
I developed the cipher for this coded alphabet back in February, when Secret Weapons was first teased.Sunlight on Snow wrote:Didn't you start with the URL from the Secret Edition?
The Secret Weapons teaser gave us 10 letters. I worked backwards from there to figure out the rest of the alphabet:

Re: Extra Secret Secret Weapons
The rather obvious URL from the Secret Edition gives you 14 letters in 2-3 minutes and with these it's pretty obvious what goes around CHAPTER ONE, and in a Harbinger world there's only so much someone like Rex-O could say starting with "PS..."Dr. Solar wrote:I developed the cipher for this coded alphabet back in February, when Secret Weapons was first teased.Sunlight on Snow wrote:Didn't you start with the URL from the Secret Edition?

Re: Extra Secret Secret Weapons
I realized my eyes started seeing the letters wrong and transposed some lines on the URL suffix. I finally got it. That was pretty fun.

Re: Extra Secret Secret Weapons
So, has anyone else actually cracked the logic behind the cipher?
It follows a very distinct, logical, and elegant pattern. Quite nice.

Nice find Greg! Although I'm happy with my hand drawn alphabet.

Re: Extra Secret Secret Weapons
I've done the whole alphabet too. Missing letters J and Q graph paper works really well.
Anyone take a picture of the small symbols make it bigger on the phone? Or use a card and cut a square and move it along the long symbols to separate it from others.
This is so much fun to ad I can't write my name yet.

Re: Extra Secret Secret Weapons
If I understand correctly, the secret Secret Weapons coded REX-o speech is the only thing that is different from the special A covers and the rest, yeah? Was it only supposed to be a variant of the A covers?
I got a 'secret' A cover & the pre-order bundle copy, but not a regular 'non-secret' copy... and I just noticed that the pre-order bundle version also has coded speech for Rex-o (but no code marker on the inside indicia)...

Re: Extra Secret Secret Weapons
I think Rex-O's bubbles are/look the same (coded speech) with the same whatevs in all versions. The only difference between the Secret Edition and all the regular/variant editions is the additional codes that will give you the URL to the intercepted communication.grendeljd wrote:If I understand correctly, the secret Secret Weapons coded REX-o speech is the only thing that is different from the special A covers and the rest, yeah?
