A donor contacted me earlier this week about the possibility of winning the charity auction
that Newsarama was holding to sponsor their coverage of Wizard World Chicago.
I thought it would be great if VALIANTfans.com was involved,
and long story short -- We WON!

Yeah, congrats. I was just on Newsarama, and that very banner led me here. I just joined.

Wow. Seeing those images really brought back some great memories. (I've been a fan since Magnus #1.) I didn't think there were that many other Valiant fans out there that were STILL fans.

Anyway, congrats, and thanks for keeping some of my best comic reading memories alive!

.....or maybe we'll be good for Newsarama. Hitting the above link is the first time I've ever been to THEIR website. Could be we will find out soon just how significant or insignificant the underground support of all-things-Valiant reallly is.

Fantastic idea with the sponsorship. That rumbling sound could be a stampede of new members........or my stomach.
