Your true feelings about VIP?
Ok. Here is a place for everyone to really let their feelings out about VIP. Against? For? I'm all for Dinesh and his group. Hope they bury VIP in every way they can. Legally, emotionaly, and show the world (or at least us) how much they suck.

THIS IS HUMOR... IT'S THAT SIMPLE. EITHER DANIEL JACKSON GETS IT OR HE DOESN'T.
All you *SQUEE* are gonna pay. You are the ones who are the ball-lickers. We're gonna *SQUEE* your mothers while you watch and cry like little whiny *SQUEE*. Once we get to Delaware and find those VIP *SQUEE* who is makin' this comic, we're gonna make them eat our *SQUEE*, then *SQUEE* out our *SQUEE*, and then eat their *SQUEE* that's made up of our *SQUEE* that we made 'em eat. And then all you *SQUEE* are next. Love, VALIANTfans.com. That'll show those *SQUEE*.

Personally, I am sick of it all. I really wish VIP and VEI could come to a settlement. That is a reason I feel VIP is just in it for the money, not the comics. If they had tons of ideas for books, it would be in their best interest to settle. Neither company is Marvel or DC. They both have much to loose. And by dragging this on, they are putting a sour taste in the mouth of many fans. Treating the ashcan as a sketch, it LOOKS like they may have some interesting ideas. But these days, could ideas mean squat. There have been plenty of comics that were good ideas, but fans didn't support them. This isn't the 90's where everybody and their brother bought comics. Comics are a much more niche market today and rely on the support of fans. Unless of course you are Marvel or DC and can just coast by on 2-3 massive franchises.

The fact is that if VIP's ideas had merit then they wouldn't need the VALIANT names.
They're using them to confuse people, hence the "is this VALIANT's return" tagline.
People will believe that what VIP is doing is another reboot just like Nicieza's... in fact we should all thank Fabian for this as it wouldn't have been possible without him.

Excuse me?Daniel Jackson wrote:Make sure you do not make threatening references to VIP or Lovitz, any future post like this will be deleted. Keep in mind they are watching this board as is apparent from reading the Newsarama article.
You're not serious, are you?
You should consider looking into something called HUMOR.
That wasn't a threat, it was a quote from the movie Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back.
Come out from the corner that Lovitz clearly put you in and stop cowering.

Just cooperate and everything will be fine. Say what you want, but don't make threatening remarks. It's that simple.ManofTheAtom wrote:You're acting scared.Daniel Jackson wrote:I'm quite serious.ManofTheAtom wrote:Excuse me?Daniel Jackson wrote:Make sure you do not make threatening references to VIP or Lovitz, any future post like this will be deleted. What the hell?Daniel Jackson wrote:Just cooperate and everything will be fine.
So now I have to keep my mouth shut and not post my opinion on this board because otherwise it'll be deleted?
Don't forget to duck and cover...
The coward lawyer makes a few remarks and all of a sudden people here can't say anything. That's just great.
And for the last time (either you get it or you don't), that wasn't a threat, it was HUMOR, which clearly you don't understand... how can you, you're too scared of the lawyer to bother.

i was under the impression that we had to monitor 'ourselves ' for lack of a better saying. not just because of lawyers but, its the right thing to do to help
make the mods job easier, Ive only seen 1 person banned here which means everyone does a good job at that, and occasionally stuff gets a little 'heated' but we have to remember that Greg is resposable for everything here so we need to so 'restraint' and good taste in difficult situations (like the one we are posting about.
and are we all here to have fun ??? I beleave so.
(you guys on this board are a great community and i enjoy being here its not too tough to fallow a few rules

Moderating yourself doesn't mean leave your spine and sense of humor at home.superman-prime wrote:i was under the impression that we had to monitor 'ourselves ' for lack of a better saying. not just because of lawyers but, its the right thing to do to help

I think we all know just how little thought VIP has applied to any "new" ideas.schi0249 wrote:Personally, I am sick of it all. I really wish VIP and VEI could come to a settlement. You are joking, right? As has been pointed out by several, Valiant succeeded in the 90's because they were different than everybody else (DC, Marvel, and later Image). Many of the people I saw buying preunity Valiant back in the day, were buying very little being published by anyone else. This began to change when Valiant became the it company and everybody was buying them.schi0249 wrote:Neither company is Marvel or DC. They both have much to loose. As far as new ideas go, it is apparent that whoever drew those pictures for the vip trashcan has decided that harbingers are now mutants with wings.

Oh, they're clearly going with the angel angle, which is the most transparent use of the word Harbinger.Second_Death wrote:I think we all know just how little thought VIP has applied to any "new" ideas.schi0249 wrote:Personally, I am sick of it all.
